Alexander Wallner is NetApp’s Senior Vice President & General Manager EMEA (which includes Europe with Russia and Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa). At the beginning of 2017, Roland Wartenberg started working for NetApp as Senior Director of Strategic Alliances. In this position, he focuses on developing the areas of enterprise solutions, big data, internet of things, data protection and data security further.
Wartenberg holds a degree in applied computer graphics and robotics, and previously worked at Genband. There, Wartenberg was Vice Present of the Global SAP Alliance and, among other fields, was responsible for the company’s worldwide product strategy and management. Before that, the graduate of the Harvard Business Online Program had been working for Citrix for six years. As Director Strategic Alliances, he coordinated the collaboration with SAP. Wartenberg was responsible for solution, strategy and product management as well as market launch and marketing. He was also responsible for the innovation strategy for cloud, mobile and IoT solutions. While working for SAP for nearly fourteen years, the IT specialist held various positions. As Chief Virtualization Strategist, he strengthened the partnerships of the Walldorf-based company to NetApp, VMware, Citrix, Intel and other enterprises.

In 1994 Holger began his computer science study at the ‘University of Applied Sciences in Giessen-Friedberg’. he completed this study successfully in 1998, with the degree ‘Diplom Informatiker (FH).

After he finished his FH diploma, I started to work at the company ‘Hewlett Packard GmbH’ in Boeblingen. From 2001 until 2003 he did a part time study at the “University of Applied Science in Fulda” which he finished in 2003 with the Master degree ‘Master of Science in e-business’.

From 1998 – 2005 he was primary involved as technical consultant in SAP projects. He designed scenarios for new SAP installations and delivered detailed project plans for SAP upgrades and infrastructure restructuring projects. Thus he has been able to greatly develop a broad knowledge within the range of High Availability solutions, SAN environment, virtualization concepts, backup strategies, disaster recovery concepts, network layouts and security strategies.

2005 he moved within HP into the Software and System Management Organization. Based on his role where he was part of an international architecture team, which did the design and architecture for HPs system management software suite. He was mainly responsible for the SAP and database CI class architecture.

In July 2011 he moved from HP to REALTECH Consulting GmbH and worked as Senior Architect in SAP and non-SAP related projects.
From October 2015 until August 2017 he was working as Senior SAP Architect at bridgingIT with the same responsibilities he had at Realtech, bevor he joined Netapp in September 2017 as SAP Solutions Architect.

In his current role as Global SAP Portfolio Lead in the Cisco Datacenter team , Rajiv Thomas evangelizes Cisco’s end-to-end datacenter strategy for SAP deployments. Rajiv focuses on simplifying the use of complex business applications with the best platform for SAP deployments, Cisco Datacenter solutions including Cisco’s United Computing Systems (UCS) and HyperFlex (HX). Dan HansonDan Hanson

Dan Hanson is a Senior Director within Cisco System’s Computing Systems Product Group. He leads the Unified Computing System (UCS) product management and technical marketing organization which defines the architecture, capabilities, and definitions of the product line. He helps consumers understand and effectively utilize the capabilities that this product set provides within the greater Cisco data center, and industry multi-cloud vision. Mr. Hanson has spoken at multiple Cisco and other vendor events and is the author of numerous papers and design guides relating to networking, compute, and storage aspects of Server Virtualization with multiple hypervisor platforms, UCS architectures, Server integration into large corporate data center infrastructures, Software Defined Infrastructure, and the larger architectural vision of Cisco’s data center efforts.

Mr. Hanson spent over 13 years as a customer, designing and supporting various network, security, storage, and compute datacenter efforts at midsize and multiple Fortune 50 corporations. Mr. Hanson has designed and engineered the deployment of enterprise, service provider, and hosting provider Virtual Private Data Center and Private Cloud efforts. These efforts included deployment with and integration into various orchestration platforms (commercial and private) that encompassed not only Compute, but also programmable DC fabric, Virtualized Network Services, DC security, rapid scale-up/scale-down, monitoring, SLA enforcement, multi-site and other technologies. This experience allows a very deep consumption viewpoint into the technical underpinnings of all Cisco DC offerings.

Mr. Hanson holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University, and an MS in Electronics Engineering from Purdue University.
